Template & prompts

Overview

Open Templates in the sidebar to manage two kinds of reusable AI shortcuts: Prompts for chat on a meeting note, and Templates for how the Summary tab is structured. Prompts run against the transcript in the note chat. Templates shape the generated meeting summary with your own headings and instructions.

Summary templates

Summary templates control how Lungoor writes the Summary on a meeting note. Creating and generating new summary templates requires Pro; summaries you already generated with a template remain viewable. Custom prompts in chat stay available on Everyday.

How to use a summary template

  1. Open a meeting note and go to the Summary tab.
  2. Below the summary, pick a template chip to generate or regenerate the summary in that format.
  3. To browse all templates or create one without leaving the note, click New in the chip row.
  4. Select Default to switch back to the standard summary format.

How to create a summary template

  1. Open Templates in the sidebar.
  2. Switch to the Templates tab.
  3. Click New template.
  4. Enter a Name (shown in the library and on the Summary tab).
  5. Add Meeting context - describe the meeting type and what you want from the summary (for example, a weekly retro focused on blockers).
  6. Under Sections, add one or more sections. Each section needs a title and instructions; each title becomes a heading in the summary. Drag to reorder sections.
  7. Click Save.

To start from a preset, open a built-in template and click Clone, then edit the copy and save your version.

Prompts

Prompts are saved instructions you trigger while chatting on a meeting note. They are available on every plan and work the same across all your meetings.

How to use a prompt

  1. Open any meeting note.
  2. Focus the chat composer at the bottom of the note.
  3. Type / to open the prompt list, or type / followed by the trigger word.
  4. Select a prompt from the list, then send the message.
  5. The AI runs your saved instructions using that note’s transcript and replies in the chat.

Example:

/decisions

How to create a prompt

  1. Open Templates in the sidebar.
  2. Switch to the Prompts tab.
  3. Click Create Prompt.
  4. Enter a Trigger word - the name you type after / (for example, decisions becomes /decisions).
  5. Add What it does - a short description shown in the library and when you type / in a note.
  6. Write Instructions - tell the AI what to extract, format, or draft from the transcript.
  7. Click Create prompt.

Click a saved prompt card to edit it, or use the delete button to remove it.

Tips

Save your most-used chat workflows as prompts, and save your recurring meeting formats as summary templates so every retro, standup, or client call gets the same structure without rewriting instructions.

Example prompt triggers:

/decisions
/follow-up-email
/standup-notes
