Widget

Overview

If you prefer a minimal interface, you can use the desktop widget. This is a compact, floating control that lets you manage your recordings without keeping the full Lungoor Notes window open.

Using the Widget

You can enable and customize the widget in Settings under Widget:

Recording Control

The compact widget displays elapsed recording time, live audio activity levels, and a green play button to start capture.

Persistent Stream

When transcription is active, the widget floats on top of your other application windows, letting you monitor your session while you take notes elsewhere. It uses the same macOS microphone and system audio permissions as the primary app. Learn more on our Permissions page.

Tips

Use the desktop widget during video calls to keep a small, unobtrusive recording indicator visible without cluttering your screen.
