Lungoor AI is an AI-powered speech-to-text productivity platform developed and operated by Surfboard India Pvt Ltd .

By using Lungoor AI you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the platform. We will notify users of material changes to this policy by email at least 7 days before they take effect.

2. Age Requirements

Lungoor AI is available to users aged 13 and above. Users between the ages of 13 and 17 must have verifiable parental or guardian consent before creating an account or making any purchases. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement. We reserve the right to terminate accounts found to be in violation.

3. Information We Collect

3.1 Personal Data

Lungoor AI collects the following personal information when you create an account:

  • Email address
  • First name and last name

This information is used for account creation, authentication, communication, and service delivery.

3.2 Usage Data

To monitor service performance and improve the platform, we collect:

  • Speech-to-Text (STT) usage count (credits consumed)
  • Platform usage metrics and feature interaction data

Only the count of Speech-to-Text usage is stored on our servers. The actual audio and transcription content is not retained by Lungoor AI after processing is complete.

4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Lungoor AI uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on its website and applications to remember session state and improve your experience. We use two categories of cookies:

  • Authentication Cookies Verify your account and keep you logged in securely across sessions.
  • Analytics Cookies Collect anonymised usage data via PostHog to help us understand feature adoption and improve the product.

5. Analytics

We use PostHog for product analytics. PostHog collects anonymised data on:

  • Feature usage and interaction behaviour
  • Session duration and navigation patterns
  • System performance metrics

This data is used solely to improve Lungoor AI and is not sold or shared with third parties for advertising.

6. AI and Speech Processing Services

To deliver its core functionality, Lungoor AI routes audio and text through the following external services:

  • Soniox Processes audio for Speech-to-Text transcription. Audio data is transmitted to Soniox solely for real-time transcription and is not retained by Soniox after the transcription is returned.
  • Google Vertex AI Powers language model features. Prompt and response data is processed transiently and is not stored by Google Vertex AI after the request is fulfilled.

Neither Lungoor AI nor its AI service providers retain your audio recordings or transcription content after processing is complete.

7. AI Data Usage Policy

Lungoor AI is committed to responsible AI data practices:

  • Your data is never used to train external AI models without your explicit consent
  • Data shared with third-party AI providers is processed only to fulfil the requested feature
  • All AI providers are contractually bound to strict data protection requirements

8. Third-Party Service Providers

To operate the platform, Lungoor AI works with trusted third-party providers including:

  • Soniox Speech-to-Text processing
  • Google Vertex AI Language model processing
  • PostHog Product analytics
  • Cloud infrastructure providers Hosting and storage
  • Payment processors Billing and credit transactions
  • Communication service providers Transactional email delivery

All providers are contractually restricted from using your personal data for any purpose beyond delivering services to Lungoor AI.

9. Data Transfer

Your information may be processed on servers located outside your state or country depending on the infrastructure and service providers used by Lungoor AI. By using the platform you consent to this transfer. We ensure that any cross-border data transfer is subject to appropriate safeguards consistent with applicable Indian data protection law.

10. Email Communications

Lungoor AI sends only transactional emails (account confirmations, receipts) and optional feature digest emails about new updates and improvements to the platform. You can opt out of feature digest emails at any time from your account settings. We do not send marketing or promotional emails.

11. Refund & Cancellation Policy

Lungoor AI operates on a prepaid credit-based payment model.

  • All credit purchases are final and non-refundable once processed.
  • Unused credits do not expire and remain available in your account until consumed.
  • Refunds will only be considered in exceptional circumstances where Lungoor AI has failed to deliver the service due to a technical fault on our end.
  • Refund requests must be submitted to admin@lungoor.ai within 7 days of the incident.

All refund decisions are at the sole discretion of Surfboard India Pvt Ltd.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

This policy and all matters relating to Lungoor AI are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with the use of Lungoor AI shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Thane, Maharashtra, India.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. For material changes, we will notify registered users by email at least 7 days before the new policy takes effect. The effective date at the top of this page will always reflect the date of the most recent revision. Continued use of Lungoor AI after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
